College of Education and Human Performance
Teaching has always been a challenging undertaking and now you can take a turn in front of a classroom full of rambunctious 5th graders. The College of Education and Human Performance will host the public in trying their hand at teaching a class of students in the TeachLivE virtual reality classroom populated by avatar students.
Can you gain their attention? Can you get your points across? Can you ask them challenging questions and can you answer theirs? Join us for a spin in TeachLivE and see if you’re equal to the challenge of being a teacher.
As an added attraction, the college is hosting “TeacherPalooza II, The Super Bowl of Teaching,” a competition among professors from each of UCF’s colleges, to see who has the best teaching techniques as demonstrated in the TeachLivE virtual reality classroom. Come cheer on your college’s professor. The “Cheer-O-Meter” will play a role in determining the winner.
